Research for an Exhibition on the History of International Vocational Training Competitions

commissioned by WorldSkills Germany e.V.

Facts & Files conducted research on the history of German participation in International Vocational Training Competitions (IVTC) since 1953. Today, the WorldSkills  organisation continues to host these world championships for young, non-academic professionals.

In 1961, 1973 and 2013, the IVTC took place in Federal Republic of Germany.

Facts & Files conducted archival research, contacted former participants and organisers, and found artefacts for the documentation of this history, which will be exhibited in the WorldSkills Museum in Shanghai.
