Clients include international organisations and media companies, as well as cultural and research institutions. Facts & Files' vision is to create a link between old and new media. The company facilitates the organization and preservation of cultural heritage stored in archives, libraries, and museums.
Facts & Files provides an expert service for historical research, archiving and making history accessible to the public. The company combines scholarly expertise with efficiency and reliability. For seventeen years, Facts & Files has been conducting historical research, writing reports and books, undertaking international studies and organising archives.The Archivedetective is our special service for genealogical and family history research.

Association of Historians in Germany
Founded in 1895, the Association of Historians in Germany organises the German Historian Conference ("Deutscher Historikertag") and is a lobbying for German speaking historians. In 2011, Facts & Files is co-founder of the Working Group for Applied History/Public History of the Association of Historians in Germany.
International Federation for Public History-Fédération Internationale pour l’Histoire Publique
The IFPH is an organisation mandated to create international linkages between public historians and promote the development of a world wide network of Public History practitioners. The federation’s purpose is to encourage, promote, and coordinate, at an international level, contacts, teaching and research in public history.

The Business Archive of Berlin-Brandenburg Association
The Business Archive of Berlin-Brandenburg Association was founded in 2004 to lobby for a business archive in the region. In 2008, the Association decided to transform to the organising institution of the business archive of Berlin-Brandenburg. The sponsorship is financed by membership fees and donation.

The Gesellschaft für Unternehmensgeschichte e.V. (GUG) is an internationally recognized scientific institution for the promotion of research in business history. It is represented in the council of the European Business History Association (EBHA) and an affiliated member of the International Economic History Association (IEHA).

Facilitate the use of library footage, images, stills and audio in all forms of media production
Encourage good practise in the research, licensing, copyright clearance and use of footage
Support, promote and educate on the need to preserve and restore footage and content
Act as an information resource for the footage and content industry
Offer training in key skills and in the broader appreciation of the footage & content industry
Gesellschaft für Westfälische Wirtschaftsgeschichte e.V. (GWWG)
Die Gesellschaft für Westfälische Wirtschaftsgeschichte e.V. (GWWG) wurde im August 1951 auf Initiative der Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Dortmund gegründet und fördert die Arbeit des Westfälischen Wirtschaftsarchivs (WWA). GWWG und WWA verstehen sich als zentrale Informations- und Dokumentationsstellen für die Wirtschaft in Westfalen und Lippe.
