Sabine Altmann

Born in 1971, studied Medieval History, Pre- and Early History, and American Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin. From 1997 to 2005, she worked as an assistant at the Brandenburg State Office for Cultural Heritage Preservation and Archaeological State Museum. Since 2000, she has worked as a freelancer for Facts & Files. After her graduation in 2006, she worked for the Historic and Photographic Collection at the Jewish Museum in Berlin from 2006 to 2007. She was an academic associate in two projects at the Centre for the History and Culture of East Central Europe (GWZO) at the University of Leipzig, researching Early- and High-Medieval border zones from 2008 to 2013, and from 2014 to 2015 project assistant at a management consultancy. In 2016, she began to work as a project assistant and researcher at Facts & Files.
